Aus DeutschlandDas Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind sporadisch eingeräumt. Wir hatten "all inklusiv" - aller 3 Tage hat sich das Buffet allerdings wiederholt. Vorrangig russische Gäste. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht wirklich empfehlen. Der Strand ist überfüllt. Der vom Hotel angebotene Shuttle zum Strand und in die Stadt fuhr nur 3x täglich. AL lohnt sich nicht wirklich, da man an Zeiten gebunden ist. Personal allerdings wirklich sehr freundlich.
Die Zimmer sind sporadisch eingerichtet und entsprechen nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Wir hatten ein Holzbett, einen Tisch worauf ein Röhrenfernseher stand, ein Hocker worauf der Kühlschrank stand. Hier waren wir wirklich enttäuscht. Das Bad war bis auf kleine Schimmelstellen an den Fugen und Armaturen in Ordnung. Klimaanlage nur bei Anwesenheit im Zimmer aktiv, da es nur eine Zutrittskarte für das Zimmer gab. Zu beachten: Man sollte kein Toilettenpapier in die Spülung werfen, sondern in einen separaten Abfallbehälter, der neben der Toilette stand. Bei den Zimmertemperaturen allerdings nicht wirklich hygienisch. Soll allerdings für Griechenland typisch sein.
Wir hatten "AL" gebucht. Waren allerdings etwas enttäuscht. Das Buffet wiederholt sich aller 3 Tage und wenn man die Zeiten verpasst, dann hat man nichts vom AL. Da gab es dann nur Brötchen, bei denen die Butter und die Wurst dahin geschmolzen sind (wir hatten 30 Grad im Schatten). Das Essen ansonsten war in Ordnung.
Das Personal ist wirklich sehr, sehr freundlich. Die Zimmerreinigung war in Ordnung.
Auf einem Hügel gelegen, zu Fuß waren Strand und Stadt erreichbar. Der Shuttle fuhr leider nur 3x täglich. Das Hotel liegt in der Einflugschneise. Shopping in der Stadt war möglich.

Dear Andrea, I would like to thank you for taking the time and reviewing Hersonissos Village, as well as for choosing our hotel for you summer holidays. I was surprised that after all giving a good average grade tot he hotel that you would not recommend it. I would like also to comment the below further to your notes: - We are a hospitality company and we over lodging as our main product. Transportation is an extra we offer to our guests during their stay here, in order to avoid walking up the hill, specially during the hot days. We believe that offering transfer services at around 10.00, 14.00, 18.00, 20.00 are enough for guest to pay a visit to the local village, in case you need a transfer at any point during the day you can always take a taxi that costs 7.00€. -It is common all over the world to through toilet paper in the bin and not in the toilet in order to avoid plumbing problems. We clean the bin daily. - After your comments about the deck chairs we have repaired any issues, and thank you for the feedback. -Most hotel in the world have small card that are needed in order for electricity to work. It would not be possible to have an AC work during the whole day without the guess being in the room. The reason behind that is that we all have to care about the planet we are living in. -Sandwiches in the snack bar are put inside a fridge buffet at a cold temperature in order to avoid any issues you mentioned.
