Hotel Apartments Castello Bianco

Dear Vincent, We thank you for staying with us for a second time. It is true that COVID made a long of changes. The most important change is our priorities. Until 2019, our priority was the happiness of our guests. Now our focus (like all hotels that value their guests) is SAFETY. We had to sacrifice some of the wellbeing for safety. We try and avoid interaction as much as possible in order to keep everyone safe. It is really difficult to imagine how many things had to be put in place for your safety. Just a small example is the cleaning of the rooms. It takes between 4-6 hours to clean and most importantly to disinfect a room between the previous and the next guests. Sheets and towels are put in special containers in order to avoid a possible transmission. Air conditioning have to be disinfected with a special procedure, same for chairs, bed, cutlery, plates, bathroom etc. etc. So yes, things are not a funny as before, but I am still very proud of the work we have done during these 2 years of pandemic because we have managed to go through these very challenging times with 100% success in our main goal: keeping everyone safe and in good health. It is now well known how much the Delta variant of COVID is easily transmissible. Just imagine a hotel full with guests from everywhere around the world and many of them unvaccinated. How do you keep all those people safe? The logistics behind all this a gigantic and very complicated procedure. Of course, you don't see all this (it is our job to keep everything as discreet as possible). Once all this is over (hopefully it will be over), we will go back to our "normal" operation procedure and Castello Bianco will be the same happy place it was before. But again, for now, I am not ready to sacrifice safety and risk our guests' health. But it is a promise, come back after the pandemic and we will be even better than the first time you came to our hotel. Keep safe and hope to see you soon. Warm regards Yannis
