Schöne Anlage aber sehr dreckiges und heruntergekommenes Haupthaus. Eine Etage kommplett zu. Man hatte teilweise das Gefühl es steht komplett leer und kurz vor dem Abriss. Erdegeschoss, wo teilweise die Angestellten wohnen, sehr dreckig und heruntergekommen. Muss man ihnen sowas zumuten? Fast das gesamte Personal war nicht gerade freundlich oder hatte nur eine kurze aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit. Strand sehr schön und flach abfallend. Leider wird von einigen Leuten einfach der Müll und die Zigarettenkippen liegen gelassen. Manche Leute haben einfach kein Benehmen und denken nicht an die Besucher und vorallem an Kinder die nach ihnen kommen. Leider gibt es nirgendwo, draußen auf der Anlage, Sitzgelegenheiten oder großartig Schatten was einem zum beispiel die teilweise lange Wartezeit auf den Bus zur Abholung nicht gerade angenehm macht.
Zimmer war bei der Ankunft schon dreckig (Müll, Haare, Sand, Wasserflecken, Staub von den Gästen vor uns) 3 Tage nach Ankunft wurde das Zimmer, nach Anfrage bei der Reinigungskraft, nur kurz mit ruden Ecken durchgefegt und gewischt. Und das dann auch noch völlig genervt und unfreundlich. Ansonsten wurden täglich die Betten gemacht und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Geputzt wurde leider nie. Weder Toilette Badewanne noch sonst was. Zimmer leider keine Couch oder Sessel zum hinsetzen. Keine Steckdose im Bad. Betten rutschen sehr schnell weg sind aber sehr bequem. Wir konnten gut drin schlafen.
Wurst- und Käseauswahl war sehr überschaubar. Kakao zum Frühstück für die kleinen Gäste haben wir nicht gefunden. Man konnte ab 7 Uhr frühstücken. Leider wurde um halb 8 immer noch eingedeckt und es kam auch schon mal vor, dass das Frühstück noch aufgebaut wurde sodass wir an einem Tag unsere Brötchen ohne Butter gegessen haben. Beim Abendessen war das Essen lauwarm kalt (Nudeln trocken und klebten zusammen) und die Behälter waren oft leer. Es hat leider ziemlich lange gedauert bis nachgefüllt wurde. Salat teilweise braun und schon labberig. Auswahl beim Abendessen war sonst ok. Der Rest ist eine Geschmacksache. Außerhalb haben wir immer sehr gut gegessen.
War ok. Zum wohlfühlen könnte er aber noch besser werden. Kein herzlich willkommen oder eine Nachfrage wie war ihr Aufenthalt oder gute Heimreise. Es gab noch nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser bei der Ankunft im Zimmer. Getränke müssen beim Abendessen sofort bezahlt werden und nicht wie wir es kennen beim Check out. Man hat sich leider alles in allem nicht willkommen gefühlt.
Die Lage und Umgebung sehr schön mit vielen Restaurants, Cafés, Bars und Geschäften. Die Leute dort sind auch sehr freundlich und sprechen meisten gut deutsch. Die Preise sind dort günstiger als im Hotel.

Es werden sehr viele und schöne Ausflüge und Aktivitäten angeboten. Wer viel von der Insel sehen und erfahren möchte sollte sich einen Mietwagen buchen.

Dear Tanja, We would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. As I always say, we are very interested in our customer's opinion, but we would certainly like to have it during their vacation so that we can assist and have the chance to deal with any problem you may have. You wrote about our nice hotel and the floor, that we have not yet renovated, made a bad impression on you and for that we are very sorry. As for our very beautiful beach, you are right because there are many people who visit this particular beach - one of the most beautiful in the area - and they certainly don't pay attention to it like our customers do and of course they visit it day and night and that's what makes our cleaning work very difficult. We are really sorry if you were not satisfied with the cleaning of your room, but knowing the maids here well, I cannot accept that they were not polite, just as I cannot accept that you did not feel welcome in the service area, especially with the welcome that Mr. Giorgos, our head waiter, always gives to our Guests. Just to note, upon arrival, customers find always a small bottle of water, per person in the room. Surely all customers in our departments can sign and pay on departure but I cannot understand how this misunderstanding could have happened and you understood that you may not charge drinks in the room. As far as our food is concerned, we always use fresh ingredients from local producers and cook most of our food with local-Cretan recipes, always using pure olive oil. I understand that for some guests this may be a bit 'heavy', but it is definitely the Greek healthy way of cooking. Following what you wrote, at breakfast only, we have 5 types of sausages and 6 types of cheese as a choice on the buffet. Also, to mention is that cocoa is available for any customer who wants it at breakfast, all he has to do is inform the waiter. Thanking you again for your time we remain always at your disposal.
