Das Melia Chiang Mai ist idealer Ausganspunkt für Besichtigungstouren in Chiang Mai. Bis zur inneren Altdtadt sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. In direkter Reichweite liegen zahlreiche Lokale, Restaurants und der Nachtbazar.
Der Melia Room ist entsprechend der Kategorie ausgestattet. Das Bad ist eher klein und für thailändische Hotels etwas eng.
Das Frühstücksangebot ist gut. Verglichen mit anderen Hotels aber nicht so üppig. Das Frühstück in "The Level" ist gut, aber mit nochmal weniger Auswahl.
Der Service ist überall typisch thailändisch freundlich.
Gute Lage. Altstadt und Fluss sind fußläufig erreichbar.
