With regard to the points you are raising kindly allow us to mention the following: Summer Palace take all measures with regards to the health and safety including the handling and processing of food. This is documented in procedures and strictly followed. A stomach flu can be caused by many reasons and can be brought externally. It is very easy to spread specially when people are staying in the same room or socializing. Of course is important that the affected person takes all necessary measures and informs the hotel to take special care of the room (disinfection etc). Our pools are filled with salty water which is publicized in all descriptions. Finally we would like to apologize if during the morning there was an interruption from some staff members, which we would like to have this brought into our attention immediately to prevent it from happening again.
