Das Hotel befindet sich in der Innenstadt in einer ruhigen Lage, ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und alle Angestellten sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf dem Dach befindet sich ein kleiner Pool mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den Burji Kalifa. Das Mövenpick ist kein besonders großes Hotel, was aber kein Nachteil ist, da die Laufwege sehr kurz sind und das Hotel nicht so überlaufen ist. Das Essen bietet viel Auswahl und ist sehr gut. Das Buffet wird ständig aufgefüllt und man findet das übliche Life cocking mit Omeletts und Crepes. Ein kostenfreies Shuttle bringt einen zur Dubai Mall oder an einen öffentlichen Strand nahe des Burji al Arab oder man kann für wenige Euro per Taxi in die Stadt fahren. Bei der Abreise wurde uns noch mitgeteilt, dass die Zimmer dieses Jahr noch komplett renoviert würden, allerdings soll das jetzt nicht heißen, dass die Zimmer alt und abgewohnt sind. Wir fanden sie sogar sehr schön mit Blick in die Lobby, also ins Innere des Hotels. Die Bäder sind zwar etwas kleiner, aber das fanden wir nicht als störend. Ein zweiter Innenhof ist nach oben hin offen, man kann Shisha rauchen, Cocktails trinken und den Abend genießen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden das Hotel im Auge behalten.
