Oberjoch - Familux Resort

This is one of the best Kinderhotels we've visited. The staff were very friendly and patient, and the overall building was well-maintained and full of things for kids to play with and climb on. They are still renovating rooms, so make sure to ask for one that's already finished. The new rooms are beautiful and well-organized, and have a pass card instead of a key. The food selection every day was more than adequate and very tasty. The wine selection was also very good, plus the waiter was knowledgable about the different wines. The swimming pools were fun, but the highlight was the water slide! However, it's not made for small children. Our big 8-year-old just managed to go by himself, but couldn't carry the heavy tube up the stairs alone. It seems like they had a lot to offer for the kids activities, but our two boys are 4 years apart in age and couldn't be in the same group, so they didn't want to join in. Usually they go together to the kids club, so we were a little disappointed. It would have been better if they had some mixed-age activities for the kids during the day. Overall, it was a great long weekend!
