Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen aber hat eine gute Lage um jedem etwas zu Bieten. Die Salzwasserlagune ist wirklich riesig nur leider etwas flach gestaltet. Der Hauptpool ist bei guter Auslastung des Hotels etwas klein und dadurch leidet die Wasserqualität. Wer möchte kann zu Fuß durch Port Ghalib schlockern und shoppen oder die Lokalitäten nutzen. Das Schnorcheln ist für die Hafennähe noch wirklich gut. Das Essen reicht um satt zu werden.
Schon recht abgewohnt dafür aber recht groß und sauber. Dafür das man eigentlich nur zum Schlafen dort ist vollkommen ausreichend . Die Zimmerboys machen einen top Job.
Geschmäcker sind bekanntlich verschieden. Wir sind immer satt geworden aber viel mehr gab es nicht zu bieten. Das Buffet ist auf kleinem Raum verteilt, der Leder auch ganz schön dunkel ist und dadurch kommt es in der Hauptessenszeit zu Schlangen. Na ja, kann man gut vermeiden wenn man später geht😂😂 Appetitliches Anrichten ist für mich anders und Abwechslung auch. Wer mit Pizza und Pommes glücklich wird ist gerettet. Das Restaurant im Palace ist da schon wesentlich besser. Das Flair direkt an der Lagune zu sitzen und das Essen ist besser.
Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und immer bemüht es allen Gästen recht zu machen auch ohne auf Trinkgeld zu lauern. Da ist man gerne bereit immer mal wieder etwas zu geben. Bei der Menge an Touristen kann nicht jeder bedient werden. Wir haben direkt zu Anfang gefragt ob wir das Zimmer wechseln könnten da wir ins Erdgeschoss einquartiert wurden, das ist nichts für mich, und dem würde sofort entsprochen. Wir durften uns vorher das neue Ziimer anschauen und dann entscheiden. Also top Service.
Für jeden etwas dabei. Port Ghalib zum shoppen und bummeln, fußläufig. Relativ schöner Strand der allerdings durch Ebbe und Flut beeinflußt ,wenn die Stege nicht wären, keine wirkliche Möglichkeit zum schwimmen bieten.

Kann ich nicht wirklich beurteilen da wir die Animationen nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Sie wiederholen jeden Tag das Gleiche sind aber in ihrer Art auch nicht aufdringlich . Das Schnorcheln von den Stegen aus ist absolut ok wenn es in Marsa Alam auch schönere Riffe gibt. Schwimmen direkt vom Strand aus ist eigentlich nie wirklich möglich.

All of the comments you raised in your review have been shared with the management team and I would like to take the time to offer the following feedback. Please note that our team of Chefs are consistently checking and replenishing serving dishes as required for the duration of the meal, furthermore the hotel works with a 7 day rolling menu providing varying International theme dishes and several live cooking stations (pizza, pasta, BBQ grill, salad station) are also available supplementary to the main buffet dishes. The menu includes 5 varieties of fresh fruit available daily and the buffet is always offering a vegetable dish at both lunch and dinner. I am sorry to read that you were not completely satisfied with some points of your stay. These comments have been taken on board by our Manager who will consider all comments for future guests.
