Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Ein schönes Hotel, welches auf Nachhaltigkeit setzt und plastikfrei unterwegs ist. Für die Lage außerhalb kann das Hotel nichts, jedoch sollte man beim Verlassen des Hotels nicht zu viel erwarten.
Die Zimmer sind schön und modern eingerichtet und bringen einen in Urlaubsstimmung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und einem Balkon, eine große Dusche und ein Doppelbett mit Moskitonetz.
Wir haben die Unterkunft mit Frühstück gebucht. Hier gab es von Omelett, über Croissants und Brötchen, Aufschnitt und Marmeladen, zu Müsli und Früchten alles was benötigt wurde. Eine eher kleine und bescheidene Auswahl, aber ausreichend und lecker. Draußen gibt es eine snackbar, die zu zwei Tageszeiten geöffnet hat. Mittagessen haben wir dort nicht eingenommen. Abendessen nur einmal. Der Preis von ca 80€ / 2 Personen war uns für die übersichtliche und nicht besondere Auswahl aber deutlich zu teuer.
Der Service war von Rezeption, bis Restaurant über Zimmerservice einwandfrei. Sehr nette Leute. Vor allem einen großen Dank an Benedicte, die uns für Rat und Tat zur Seite stand.
Die Fahrt vom Flughafen Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport dauert etwa 60 Min. Die Umgebung außerhalb des Hotels ist sehr heruntergekommen und lädt nicht unbedingt zu Besuchen oder Spaziergängen ein. Trotzdem sind die Menschen überall, auch außerhalb des Hotels, sehr nett. Es gibt einige Lokale in der Gegend (ca 15-20 min) und auch kleine Supermärkte.
