Wir waren bereits mehrfach in dem Hotel, leider hat sich einiges zum negativen verändert. Gästestruktur: fast überwiegend Tschechen und Polen. Dementsprechend ist dort die Atmosphäre! Im Restaurant wird gerne Abends z.B. in Strandkleidung diniert, mittags dann nur in Badesachen und morgens kommt man einfach im Morgenmantel zum Frühstück. Die Teller werden überladen usw. In dem Hotel gibt es den Veraclub (ausschließlich Italiener), mit eigener Animation, Restaurant, Rezeption. Die Italiener bekommen eindeutig bessere Speisequalität und -auswahl als der Rest. Als "normaler" Tourist kann man aber für 20 €/Person beim Italiener essen. Alternativ den Club77 buchen. Dieser beinhaltet 2x Mittag und 2x Abendessen beim Italiener, 1x Fisch, 7 x Säfte, 7 x Eis und 7 x Shisha. Man soll gefühlt für alles bezahlen, wenn man nur etwas normales möchte.
Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt. Im Zimmer befindet sich ein TV (größtenteils noch Röhren-TVs), Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Viele Bodenfliesen sind sehr kaputt. Da sollte in der nächsten Zeit investiert werden.
Das Essen, naja was soll man sagen ... Das Frühstück ist völlig OK. Das Mittagessen ... geht in der Form so einfach nicht. Man kann nur ins Hauptrestaurant. D.h. sich anziehen und vom Strand aus durch die ganze Anlage (weitläufig) latschen. Alternativ kann man jeden Tag Pommes, Burger oder Hot Dog am kleinen Pool bekommen (keine Abwechslung). Das eigentliche Strandrestaurant muss unbedingt wieder geöffnet werden! Abendessen: Häufig kalt, Fleisch zäh usw. Seit einigen Tagen gibt es aber wohl ein neues Management und Küchenleitung. Die letzten Tagen wurde es etwas besser. Also die Daumen sind gedrückt für die positiven Veränderungen.
Der Service ist TOP! Das Hotel lebt von seinem tollen Personal! Die Mitarbeiter sind zum Großteil schon sehr lange dort tätig und extrem hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, auch ohne Trinkgeld.
Zum Flughafen Marsa Alam sind es ca. 45 Minuten. Bis nach Port Ghalib sind es ca 40 Minuten. Ein Abend sollte man in Port Ghalib verbringen. Lecker Essen gehen und etwas bummeln.

Die Tauchbasis (Eurodivers) ist einfach super! Mega organisiert! Dafür würde ich gerne 10 Sonnen geben. Das SPA ist schön geworden. Massagen sind super. Die Poolanlage ist soweit OK, aber auch hier sehr viel kaputte Fliesen, die dringend ausgetauscht werden müssen. Verletzungsgefahr. Animationsprogramm ist leider immer das gleiche (über Jahre hat sich nichts verändert)

Secondly we would like to clear the situation about room booking we receive the booking details for every guest from the travel agency and we do our best to satisfy every guest room request but as hotel availability but in the same time every guest get his reservation as you know in Utopia we have different room categories starting from economy standard superior deluxe and beach front , we have done a lot of renovation in the main building and we will continue the renovation. For your information we have plan to remove the beach restaurant and building a new one in the next winter , as the hotel was closed two times during the Corona time , as you have said that new chef came and begin to change the menu to provide more food variety and you have seen in the last 4 days from your holiday that he has started to put his touch . The only difference between the Italian guests and the other guests that the Italian have their restaurant with an Italian chef for the pasta and more Italian food from the Italian kitchen but in the same time the others they have their own restaurant .and all other services and activities available for all Utopia beach club guests.
