Campo San Geremia is located in the famous Venice's Cannaregio district. The square is known as the center of the cult of St. Lucia of Syracuse, the Christian martyrs, victim of the persecution of Diocletian. She is venerated by the followers of the Catholic Church and the Orthodox and Lutheran ones. One of the attractions of the square is the church of the same name, where there are stored the remains of St. Lucia. It is thus a very important place for Christians.
