Infos Palazzo Fortuny

Palazzo Fortuny is located in the San Marco district in Venice. It was built in the late fifteenth century by the nobles of Pesaro. The building served as their residence up until the seventeenth century. In its long history it was, inter alia, the seat of Accademia Filarmonica degli Orfei, until it fell into the hands of Mariano Fortuny. Today, it houses a museum, donated to the city by Mariano's wife, Henrietta Negrín. Visitors of the palace can admire an exhibition characterized by innovation and modernity.
