Aus DeutschlandKeine 5 Sterne wert Wir haben zwar einen insgesamt schönen Urlaub verbracht, aber das Hotel entspricht in vielen Punkten nicht dem Standard, den man bei 5 Sternen erwartet.
Zimmer: Bei Ankunft fehlten Bettwäsche und Handtücher für unsere Tochter. Zudem gab es keine Klobürste und der Abfluss in der Dusche war verstopft, sodass unser Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Anlage: Die Anlage ist insgesamt in Ordnung, allerdings sind die öffentlichen Toiletten deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders störend: Alle Kabinen hatten Glastüren aus Milchglas, durch die man trotz allem Konturen erkennen konnte – ziemlich unangenehm.
Essen & Getränke: Geschmacklich war das Essen bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Fleisch war häufig trocken, Fisch- oder Meeresfrüchte wurden kaum angeboten und wenn, dann ebenfalls übergart. Von authentischer griechischer Küche war nur wenig zu spüren, insgesamt fehlte Abwechslung. Desserts und Obst waren nahezu jeden Tag identisch. Das Frühstück war enttäuschend: keine frischen Säfte oder Bohnenkaffee, sondern nur Zuckerwasswer und Instantkaffee. Ich habe mir jeden Morgen meinen Saft selbst frisch gepresst, um etwas Qualität zu bekommen. Beim Abendessen kaum Service – keine Tischzuweisung, selten Bedienung bei Getränken, Gläser oft verschmutzt oder angelaufen. Cocktails wurden nicht frisch zubereitet, sondern überwiegend fertig aus der Flasche serviert.
Die Lage war sehr gut. Wir waren nur ein paar Kilometer von Rhodos entfernt und konnten innerhalb von 15 min mit dem Bus in der Stadt sein. Ixia bietet auch ein paar Restaurants und Geschäfte.

Animation & Strand: Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist das Animationsteam, das mit viel Motivation und Freundlichkeit für ein abwechslungsreiches Abendprogramm gesorgt hat. Auch der Strand war schön: sauber, klares Wasser, nur ein kurzes Stück Kies bis man im Meer im Sand war. Vom Pool aus erreicht man den Strand in zwei Minuten.
