Keine 5 Sterne, Personal unmotiviert, gelangweilt und genervt, sehr laute Restaurants, insgesamt enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen. Positiv: sehr schöne Anlage und geschmackvoll - aber Alles andere ist leider nicht überzeugend.
Bequemes großes Bett, alles sehr sauber, großes Zimmer, nur die Duschtrennwand war viel zu klein, so dass das Bad bzw. der Boden immer nass war.
Keine 5 Sterne. Warme Speisen waren höchstens lauwarm. Kaum bis gar nicht gewürzt. Schon eine sehr große Auswahl, aber bei 5 Sternen ist das Angebot enttäuschend. Restaurants unglaublich laut, eine Atmosphäre wie in einer bayerischen Trinkhalle.
Personal gelangweilt, unmotiviert und genervt, man hatte das Gefühl zu stören. Besonders an der kleineren Poolbar.
Umgebung herunter gekommen, nicht fertig gestellte Bauruinen, billigste Touristen Läden, viel Müll.

However, we would like to offer you some explanations on the aforementioned points. Please allow us to point out that Hersonissos is the most cosmopolitan place on Crete. The seaside town of the port of Hersonissos is a beehive of activity all year around. The variety and extent of Hersonissos coastline make it possible for bathers to enjoy an infinite number of different places to swim, all of them lapped by warm, crystal clear water, while also it is famous for its night life as there are many bars, restaurants and taverns next to the beach. Moreover, we would like to clarify that our staff and the service it offers is the reason our guests choose to return year after year, as it is “extremely helpful and courteous and one of the biggest assets of Creta Maris”, according to the majority of the feedback we receive. Thus, we are surprised to read your negative comment about it. This is why we hope you had contacted our Guest Service team, while you were still staying in the resort, to explain what drove you to that conclusion. Nevertheless, as we respect your opinion, we will take it into consideration. In addition, let us to mention that as we consider food one of the most important factors of the stay, we offer a wide variety of dishes, which are prepared with fresh, high quality local ingredients, while the food in all our buffets is stored either in special chafing dishes, or in food warmers, which are a perfect way to serve hot food at buffet. In addition, we would also like to mention that Creta Maris has been included in the "Greek Breakfast" program, thus making it possible for the guests to experience the plentiful gastronomic wealth of Crete and to taste the Cretan breakfast, the unique Cretan products and delicacies that are an important part of the Mediterranean diet. Regarding the food temperature please be kindly informed that all our restaurants follow a standard procedure with the temperature of all dishes. Nevertheless, in case a guest prefers a different temperature on his dish he may contact the restaurant staff and it will be happy to assist, as happened in your case. Moreover, please be kindly informed that our main restaurant “Cosmos” can accommodate simultaneously up to 700 guests. However, we also offer the option of dining in our second main restaurant “Estia”, which is quieter, or of outdoor dining in one of our thematic restaurants (Almyra for all-day dining and Cochlias, Pithos and Platia for dinner).
