Ideal für Menschen mit Kleinkindern ohne Ruheanspruch. Riesige, laut hallende Speisesäle mit Selbstbedienung. Dicht gedrängte und bereits Ende April fast voll besetzte Sonnenliegen. Mindestens 25% Kinder. Kaum ruhige Ecken. Fast überall Musikbeschallung.
Obwohl vorher reserviert, stand der gewünschte Zimmertyp nicht zur Verfügung. Man versuchte uns durch Warten zu ermürben und das angebotene schreckliche Zimmer aufs Auge zu drücken, nach mehrmaligem Beschweren bekamen wir zwar kein Zimmer nach Süden oder Westen, wie bei der Reservierung angeben, sondern ein recht dunkles nach Norden an einem Hauptweg. Kein guter Start. Es war jedoch relativ ruhig.
Mietwagen erforderlich, wenn man nicht nur Bars, Souvenirshops und Strand will. 15 Min. Richtung Süden und man ist in der Natur ohne Massentourismus.

As concerns your comment about the room type reserved, please allow us to explain that all the room types offered in Creta Maris do not guarantee a North/ South/ East/ West location. On the contrary, as we mention in all our descriptions, most of the room types offered are situated throughout the resort (in the 2 main buildings and the bungalow area). As you have not mentioned any details about your reservation, we cannot check what have exactly happened, however, we can assure you that we do our best to always offer the best available room to all our guests. Moreover, it is inevitable that some areas of our resort, like our main swimming pool, will accommodate the majority of our guests. However, as Creta Maris Beach Resort is located in an area of 150,000 sq. and offers 6 different swimming pools with sunbeds and umbrellas, our guests can easily find a place to be accommodated in a quieter area. Continuing, please be kindly informed that apart from our buffet restaurants, we also offer three a la carte restaurants (Pithos, Platia & Almyra for dinner), where guests may enjoy served menu. Lastly, please allow us to note that thanks to its architecture, Creta Maris Beach Resort is a resort suitable both for families and singles/couples as it offers many different options of accommodation, dining and entertainment, in combination with relax atmosphere. In fact, it is its architecture that offers to every guest the chance to choose between quiet places as is the Bungalow Pool or more popular and crowded places as it is our main swimming pool.
