Dear Sigrid, I would like to thank you for choosing Hersonissos Village as your holiday hotel for this year. As a hotel we are always open to both negative and positive feedback from our guests, so that we can continue to improve. Although I can not help and make some notes for the readers. Hersonissos Village is a hotel on the island of Crete, and has its doors open to all nationalities, in the spirit of globalization and free transfer of people. In this sense it should be very clear that when people travel, they will encounter other nationalities, that have different cultural backgrounds and habits. One should be prepared that going on holidays, their holiday time will not be as at home, where the majority of people are of their nationality. It is one of the nice things of tourism, that allows people with a variety of habits to mingle together. Concerning the distance to the beach which for you was a negative point, I would like to mention that all travel agencies are informed about it and should inform their clients. As an improvement from the feedback we get on Holiday-check, we have from the start of June a shuttle bus transferring guest from and to the beach. The traditional part of the hotel is a series of Bungalows style room, carefully positioned in a big Greek garden with a great variety of flowers and trees, giving the sense of a small cosy village. As for the leisure activities, I would like to mention that on the hotel grounds one can find: Tennis, Football, Basketball, Mini golf, Beach Volley, ping pong, Billiards, a Fitness rooms, Water polo, weekly music night, and one sport animator. If you would like something more we are open to hearing from you a proposal. Concerning the star rating, I am wondering how the value of money is adequate and the same time, the official rating is worse, and would be very happy if you would like to explain me further. Again thank you for visiting us, as well as for spending the time to reviewing our hotel. Although it does not seem likely, we would always be happy to welcome you back once more. Kind regards, Pratsinakis Dimitris Hotel Manager Hersonissos Village
