Aufgrund des Viele Positiven Bewertungen haben wir uns für dieses Hotel entscheiden. Leider waren wir doch sehr Überrascht das es doch viele Punkte gab die nicht den Bewertungen entsprechen. Sehr negativ ist uns aufgefallen das nach einem Unwetter die liegen vom Strand entfernt wurden aber dann danach nur mehr gut die hälfte aufgestellt wurde so das man sich bemühen musst um noch einen freien platz zu finden.
Das Zimmer war in keiner weiße einem 5 Sterne Hotel angemessen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Die ganzen Möbel waren stark abgenutzt und es sah alles einfach wie in einem 3 Sterne Appartement aus. Zusätzlich waren die Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig. Was uns einige schlaflose Nächte bereitet hat
Das Essen war eher mittelmäßig. zum Frühstück gab es das ganz normale Programm von Käse wurst Spieleier etc. Nur das Diese Eier in einer Wanne aus Olivenöl geschwommen sind. man musst sich eine serviete aufs Teller legen damit zumindest nicht alles am Teller in Öl stand wenn man sich ein ein nahm. Leider waren beim Abendessen oft viele der Speisen nicht wirklich warm sondern nur mehr Lauwarm. Eine schöne Ausnahme stellt das Pool Restaurant und das Barbecue Restaurant da.
Der Serviece war sehr unterschiedlich. Es gab Angestellt die sich um einen bemühte und die einem den Urlaub wirklich versüßten. Und leider auch andere die einen einfach Ignorieren. Und sehr unfreundlich waren.
Die Anfahrt zum Hotel dauert über 1h da wir bei vielen Hotels zwischenstops einlegen mussten. Das Hotel liegt Fußläufig von dem Ort Chersonisos. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall. In der Direkten Umgebung gibt es viele Geschäfte Autovermietungen. Wenn ihr Zeit habt besucht unbedingt das Aquaworld Aquarium & Reptile Rescue Centre. Hier werden ausgesetzte und gerettete Tier liebevoll aufgepäppelt und gepflegt. Dort kann man viele der Tiere unter Aufsicht der Betreuer auf den Arm nehmen und sie erzählen einem dann etwas über die einzelnen Tiere super Aktion für groß und klein. Der Strand des Hotel ist nur mit Vorsicht zu genießen, da fast im Gesamten Badebereich große Steinplatten mit Löchern und scharfen Kanten sind.

Freizeitangebote haben wir nicht genutzt da wir mindestens 15 min dafür ans andere Ende der Anlage gehen müssten. Sehr schade fand ich das nirgends stand wo diese Aktivitäten genau stattfinden. In diesem Hotel gibt es 2 verschiedene Fitness Studios. Das Gratis Studio bestand aus 3 Ausdauer Geräten( Laufband und Stepper) und einem Kombi Kraft Gerät. Zusätzlich gab es noch ein paar Hanteln und Trainingsmatten. Direkt nebenan gab es ein Studio das man Bezahlen müsste mit sehr viele Geräten und viel Platz. Warum man das hier unterschiedet versteh ich nicht.

Please allow us to mention that the beach in front of Creta Maris is 350m long and is awarded with the voluntary eco-label Blue Flag and is also certified as a Sustainable Beach of the Mediterranean by Costa Nostrum - Sustainable Beaches program. Moreover, kindly be informed that there is a part of the seabed with sand, a part with pebbles, and a part with rocks. The presence of rocks and pebbles in Cretan beaches is extensive as this is its natural landscape. Additionally, we are sorry to read that you were not satisfied with the room offered and really hope you had mentioned this dissatisfaction of yours when you were still staying with us, so we could have offered you another room available. Moreover, as your review concerns 2018 season, please let us clarify that all our rooms are now renovated, while the size of each room type and the amenities it offers, are clearly mentioned on our website and descriptions, so to avoid any misunderstandings with our guests. As regards your comment about the provided food, please allow us to clarify that our 6 restaurants offer a wide variety of dishes, which are prepared with fresh, high quality local ingredients following local and Mediterranean recipes. While, all of them follow a standard procedure with the temperature of the dishes. Nevertheless, in case a guest prefers a different temperature on his dish he may contact the restaurant staff and it will be happy to assist. Continuing, please be kindly informed that Creta Maris has been included in the "Greek Breakfast" program, thus making it possible for the guests to experience the plentiful gastronomic wealth of Crete and to taste the Cretan breakfast, the unique Cretan products and delicacies that are an important part of the Mediterranean diet. The eggs are cooked in the traditional Cretan way with virgin olive oil. However, there is a colander spoon available in the buffet, so every guest could decide the desired amount of oil. We hope you had mentioned your dissatisfaction to our staff in order to try satisfying any particular culinary need of yours. Further, please let us inform you that our animation team organizes activities on a daily basis (except Sundays) at our Terra swimming pool, located in the upper part of the resort, while our guests are being informed about the animation program via announcement on the animation board (opposite to Cosmos restaurant and next to Terra Building pool).
