Wir waren für insgesamt 10 Tage im Hotel Creta Maris auf der Insel Kreta. Für ein 5* Hotel langt das Gesamtangebot sicherlich nicht - es gibt von uns aber eine 4*+. Tolle Anlage im Stil eines Dorfes angelegt - sehr gepflegt und sauber. In allen Ecken wird geschnippelt und gepflanzt ... Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal - auch dafür herzlichen Dank Viele verschiedene Restaurants - drei Pool/Strandbars und auch Abends immer die Möglichkeit mindestens zwei Bars zu nutzen - genügte - zumindest uns - vollkommen. Schönes Zimmer - immer sauber - aber und jetzt der erste Minuspunkt - das Bad doch abgewohnt und teils etwas renovierungsbedürftig und eben nicht 5* Dafür aber der Safe (Schlüssel) kostenfrei. In den Frühstücksrestaurants morgens kostenlos frisch gepresster Orangensaft - nicht unbedingt normal - aber auch hier ein negativer Punkt - keine frisch zubereiteten Omeletts oder Rühreier - das wiederum war für uns jetzt nicht unbedingt nachvollziehber und entspricht eigentlich auch nicht dem Standart ... Ich weiss - Nörgeln auf hohem Niveau - aber wenn das Gesamtbild stimmt sucht man halt in den Krümmeln. Was über die ganzen Tage störend war ist, dass das Hotel in der Einlugschneide zum Fluhafen liegt und hier - teilweise im 2 Minuten Takt - ein Urlaubsflieger einschwebt.

Concerning your dissatisfaction from the bathroom, please allow us to explain that all our rooms’ bathrooms are renovated in 2010. We wish you have mentioned your dissatisfaction to a staff member in order to find a solution during your holidays. Moreover, please allow us to explain that Creta Maris Beach Resort offers a local high quality brand of orange juice. In case a guest prefers a freshly squeezed orange juice, we are happy to offer it with an extra charge. Continuing, we can assure you that omelets and scrambled eggs are included in our everyday breakfast menu. Our staff would have showed you were you can find these plates if you had asked for assistance. Lastly, as regards the aircraft sound please let us inform you that the resort is located 24km away from the airport. Since the airway pass by Hersonissos seaside, the aircrafts can be visible but still very high since the airport is 24km away.
