Die Hotelanlage ist weitläufig, gepflegt und direkt am Strand gelegen, was den Gästen eine herrliche Aussicht auf das Meer ermöglicht. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Gastronomie. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend, sowohl in den Buffet-Restaurants als auch in den A-la-carte-Restaurants. Die Auswahl an lokalen, kretischen Spezialitäten, Meeresfrüchten und internationalen Gerichten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt sogar spezielle Themenrestaurants, die ein kulinarisches Erlebnis bieten. Die Atmosphäre in den Restaurants ist sehr angenehm, und auch auf eine gehobene Kleiderordnung wird Wert gelegt, was den gehobenen Standard des Hotels unterstreicht. Der Service im gesamten Resort war hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchgehend freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprechen mehrere Sprachen, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Ob an der Rezeption, im Restaurant oder bei der Zimmerreinigung – man fühlt sich stets gut aufgehoben. Auch die Zimmer waren in einem tadellosen Zustand: geräumig, sauber und mit allen notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Besonders die Betten haben uns durch ihre Bequemlichkeit überzeugt, was für erholsame Nächte sorgte. Die Freizeitmöglichkeiten im Resort sind vielfältig. Es gibt mehrere Pools, darunter einen großen Aquapark, der besonders für Familien mit Kindern ein Highlight ist. Das Sportangebot ist ebenso beeindruckend: Tennis, Fitness und eine breite Palette an Wassersportaktivitäten lassen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Abends bietet das Hotel verschiedene Shows und Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten an, die für Abwechslung sorgen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war die Kinderbetreuung. Zwar sind die Betreuer sehr freundlich und engagiert, jedoch war das Programm aus unserer Sicht etwas eintönig und könnte abwechslungsreicher gestaltet sein, um den Kindern mehr spannende Aktivitäten zu bieten. Insgesamt hatten wir im Creta Maris Beach Resort jedoch einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Für Familien und Paare, die einen entspannten und zugleich luxuriösen Urlaub auf Kreta suchen, ist dieses Hotel definitiv eine Empfehlung wert. Besonders das hervorragende Essen, der freundliche Service und die traumhafte Lage am Strand haben uns überzeugt.

Regarding the sunbeds, please allow us to mention that reserving sunbeds is not allowed in Creta Maris. We always do our best to inform our guests accordingly, asking them to respect this policy that is established to ensure equal opportunity for all guests who wish to enjoy our pools and beach. If towels are placed to unofficially reserve sunbeds before our pools open in the morning, our pool attendants are instructed to remove them. Furthermore, our team remains at our guests’ disposal to help with finding available sunbeds or to provide any other kind of assistance needed.
